Celebrating Neurodiversity With Color

At More Joy, we believe that when people are given space to create, feel, and exist without interruption, something magical happens. We honor the beautiful spectrum of neurodiversity and invite you into a more colorful, inclusive, and joyful way of being.
More Joy Is Possible

At More Joy, we believe that every brain is a brushstroke in the masterpiece of humanity—each one adding its shape, rhythm, and color to the canvas of life. Something magical happens when people are given the freedom to create, feel, and exist without interruption.

We honor the full spectrum of neurodiversity and invite you into a more colorful, inclusive, and joyfully alive world.

A particular kind of magic blooms when someone is allowed to be themselves fully—no pressure to perform, no need to explain, no mask required. Just presence. Just freedom. That’s what we aim to create: a space where everyone, especially those who see and feel the world differently, is welcomed and celebrated.

Space to Hyperfixate = Space to Invent

So many of the world’s greatest inventions, breakthroughs, and artworks came from people who were allowed to hyper-fixate, to tune the world out, and go all-in on the spark that lit them up.

But here’s the problem: in our noisy, fast-paced, productivity-obsessed culture, we often interrupt people whose brilliance could guide us.

At More Joy, we want to flip that script.

We’re building a space where people can create without being interrupted. You don’t need to mask, translate, or apologize for how your mind works. Where sensory needs are not just accommodated, but celebrated. Where joy isn’t reserved for the neurotypical—it’s something we all get to feel, especially when creating from a place of authenticity.

We Don’t Need You to Produce. We Need You to Be.

RFK Jr.’s recent comments reflect a worldview that ties human value to productivity. He suggests that your life is somehow less meaningful if you can’t pay taxes, go on a date, or write a poem. But what a narrow, soulless version of humanity that is.

Let’s be clear:
If you never “contribute” in the ways society recognizes…
If you never “achieve” or “accomplish” or “earn”…
You are still worthy.
You are still valuable.
You are still a blessing.

Not because of what you do, but because of who you are.

At More Joy, we’re not here to extract value from people. We’re here to reflect it to them. In color. In fabric. In the healing movement. In laughter. In softness.

Color Therapy as Neurodivergent Celebration

Our dash-dye method isn’t just for fun (although it is fun). It’s a form of color therapy—a sensory-friendly way to tap into mood, regulation, identity, and self-expression. Every shade in our 150+ pigment collection has a feeling attached to it. We teach people—especially those who’ve never felt seen—how to feel good in what they wear, how to reclaim clothes that once felt like costumes, and how to shine in their spectrum.

For our neurodivergent friends, this is more than fashion. It’s freedom.

A More Joy-Filled World Is a More Inclusive One

We’re not just talking about inclusion—we’re practicing it. Every open studio, healing session, and private moment of transformation in our backyard studio is designed with neurodiversity in mind.

Because we believe:

  • No one should be excluded because they stim, mask, or need a break.
  • Artistic expression belongs to everyone, especially those who have never been invited to the table.
  • Your joy matters. Just as you are.

What You Can Do

  • Create space, not noise. Let someone hyper-fixate, let someone feel deeply, and let them take their time.
  • Choose delight over judgment. Look for the humanity in someone’s difference.
  • Support organizations and brands—like ours—that are actively dismantling ableist ideas.
  • And if you’re neurodivergent, create with us. You are not a problem to solve; you are a color we haven’t seen yet.

More Joy is possible, especially when we stop trying to fix people and start learning from them instead! Book a session and discover your dash of color!
