Cosmic Bodies at MFF x NYFW

There are moments when fashion stops being fabric and becomes movement. Breath. Presence. That’s what happened at my Cosmic Bodies runway presentation — when eight planetary looks stepped off the hanger and into living orbit.

This collection was inspired by the celestial bodies above us — the planets that move in rhythm, carry gravity, and hold their own energetic identity. Each look was designed not just to be seen, but to be worn in motion — to swirl, to flow, to express the personality of the human inside it.

When the models walked, the concept became real. Color became alive. The cosmos became embodied.

Planets Need Bodies

Designing the Cosmic Bodies series reminded me of something I return to again and again in my work:
Clothing is incomplete without a human nervous system inside it.

Each model brought their own gravity, tempo, and emotional tone to their planetary look. The same garment moved differently depending on who wore it — and that’s the point. We are not mannequins. We are moving systems of light and feeling.

These were first drafts — and still, they pulsed with personality. Because when someone feels good in what they’re wearing, the garment starts to collaborate with them.

The Runway Is Not Just for Models — It’s for Humans

One of my core creative beliefs is that beauty is not reserved for professional models. Humans are most beautiful when they are ready to be seen — when they feel safe enough to play, move, and express.

The dancers, the walkers, the twirlers — they brought collective effervescence to the runway. You could feel it in the room: permission. Celebration. Shared joy.

Fashion becomes powerful when it becomes participatory.

The Celestial Bodies in the Audience

Not all the cosmic bodies were on the runway.

Some of the most important stars in my universe were in the audience — my mom Diane, my niece Ophelia, and dear friends Nora and Nicole — dressed in shades that inspire joy and ready to move with me before, during, and after the show.

They danced. They spun. They witnessed. They encouraged.

These are the people who help me keep creating — the ones who remind me that joy grows in relationship. That color is brighter when it’s shared. That courage multiplies when it’s supported.

Why I Design for Movement

I don’t design stiff fashion. I design moveable joy.

Soft structure. Expressive color. Comfortable silhouettes. Pieces that invite the body to participate.

If an outfit makes you want to spin, it’s doing its job.

Movement is a truth-teller — if something is restrictive, your body knows. If something is aligned, your body celebrates. My goal is to create garments that help people feel more at home in their bodies, not less.

Fashion can be somatic. Fashion can be therapeutic. Fashion can be a doorway back to play.

From Cosmic Bodies to Personal Expression

The Cosmic Bodies collection is one expression of a bigger mission: helping people discover the colors, textures, and shapes that unlock their authentic joy.

This is the heart behind my color sessions and custom clothing experiences — we don’t just pick outfits. We develop wearable energy. We build pieces that match how you want to feel in your life and body.

If you want clothing that makes you want to move, breathe deeper, and show up more fully — we can design that together.

Book a color + clothing session and let’s create your joy in motion!
