A Power Portrait is a collaboration and takes two hours. We start by finding your color — or, if you’re drawn to the Michigan Birds series, we research your bird together: its coloring, migration pattern, behavior, and what it might reflect about you. Then we build a full wearable look in those colors.

Then we go outside. I photograph you in motion — not posed, not performing, but moving through a landscape that fits your colors. We usually work near sunset in parks along the Grand River or in natural spaces around West Michigan. That moment is what I’m always looking for. The images capture it.

If you are participating in the Michigan Birds series, session fees are waived. I can’t wait to witness your joy blossom.
